Reviews and Ratings
The hotel wasn't up to standard: rooms had large cobwebs everywhere, dusty, and hadn't been hoovered. However, being on the highest level provided a quiet environment for our visit. The service was great, with helpful and nice staff running both bar and check-ins. While the location scored only a 2 due to issues like a strong urine smell from adjacent toilets, it was convenient for the NEC and resorts world. The dining options were limited, directing me elsewhere for meals. Despite the challenges, the tasty snacks were a plus.
The hotel is situated in a lovely village, with a bit of noise and rowdiness but spotless facilities. The rooms were small compared to the photos, and the service was pleasant despite the pub being a bit rowdy. The location had its rough moments, and dining was limited to a pub next door. The overall experience was alright, given the value for money.
The hotel room was big and nicely decorated, although I did pay extra for the suite, but it was nice and clean and just enough for both of us. However, it was extremely cold and noisy, and there was some difficulty in accessing the sink in the room due to the layout.
